Dipped Cord

RFL-Dipped Reinforcement Cords for Rubber Products

Request a Sample Roll →

Engineered for Reliable Rubber Reinforcement with Kingdom Dipped Cord

Kingdom Dipped Cords utilize high-modulus low-shrinkage (HMLS) polyester, high-tenacity polyester, high-ductility Nylon 66 and aramid dipped cords. Precision twisting imparts balanced axial tensile modulus and radial fatigue resistance, preventing belt pitch deformation, line rupture, and structural micro-cracking under intense cyclic loading.

RFL impregnation system delivers deep capillary penetration into filament interstices. The resulting chemically reactive coating co-vulcanizes seamlessly with Natural Rubber (NR), SBR, CR, BR, and NBR compounds, generating an irreversible chemical bond with adhesion strength exceeding industry benchmarks.

The Chemistry Behind the Bond

RFL dipping and heat treatment form the basis of the supplied dipped-cord products, supporting adhesion between reinforcement cords and selected rubber compounds.

Continuous RFL Dipping Process

Engineered resorcinol-formaldehyde-latex formulations achieve micro-wetting across every filament, providing saturated chemical bonding sites across the core-sheath interface.

Thermo-Fixation Heat Setting

Multi-stage precision thermal stabilization up to 150°C aligns molecular chains under constant tension, permanently locking hot air shrinkage down to 2.5% ± 0.5%

Cross-Elastomer Compatibility

Specially formulated dip coating enables direct co-vulcanization across diverse rubber compounds (NR, SBR, CR, BR, NBR), achieving peel adhesion up to ≥ 520 N/cm

Engineered Modulus & Stiffness

Available in both flexible soft-cord configurations for fluid hose braiding and high-rigidity stiff cords for high-speed automated belt processing

THE KINGDOM ADVANTAGE

A Superior Alternative to Traditional Materials

Upgrading from grey raw yarns or standard cords to Kingdom RFL dipped solutions eliminates processing scrap and unlocks extended dynamic endurance for critical rubber parts

Get Started with Kingdom
  1. 01Unlike untreated yarns that rely purely on physical friction, Kingdom’s active RFL film forms covalent chemical bonds with rubber compounds during molding, boosting peeling adhesion beyond 400 - 520 N/cm
  2. 02Multi-zone thermal setting suppresses thermal shrinkage to a tight 2.5% ± 0.5%, preventing internal tube blistering, belt pitch elongation, and dimensional out-of-tolerance after curing
  3. 03Engineered stiff cords offer exceptional line straightness and zero twisting friction, cutting yarn breakage and downtime on multi-carrier braiders by over 35%
  4. 04Deep latex micro-penetration cushions intra-filament contact, completely preventing internal fiber-to-fiber fretting and doubling dynamic flex-fatigue life
